Terry Disdale is the man who had a hand in designing many of the world’s largest and most famous superyachts that are still sailing the Ocean. He’s conceived and designed the outside and inside of several luxury yachts for figures such as Roman Abramovich, and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. His mantra that he still holds onto today is ‘beach house not penthouse’. With that said, let’s have a look at some of his top yachts.
Eclipse – Blohm & Voss
This yacht took five years of intensive design until it took her place as the largest superyacht in the world on the 9th December 2010. This amazing vessel by Terry Disdale has a humungous owner’s deck of 56 metres in length and a series of facilities for up to 92 crew and owner’s personal staff. At her deck area, there’s a 16-metre swimming pool, with a base that can be raised to transform the area into a dance floor.
Tatoosh – Nobiskrug
This ship is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She includes two helipads, a swimming pool and a diving room which includes a decompression chamber. Tatoosh can sleep up to 12 guests in a total of 10 rooms, which include a master suite, 7 double cabins and 2 twin cabins.
